GENESIS is a fully integrated finite element analysis and design optimization package developed by experts in structural optimization.
The software includes analyses based on the finite element method, such as static, normal modes, direct and modal vibration analyses, random vibration response, thermal analysis, and buckling analysis. By using analysis and sensitivity data, optimization tools like DOT and BIGDOT solve predefined approximation problems for absolute optimization. Once the optimum solution for the approximation problem is found, a new finite element analysis is performed, and the process repeats until optimal convergence is achieved.
