SimWise 4D is a powerful simulation software for expert design and analysis engineers who work with continuous assemblies and focus on mechanism design, while developing your designs in CAD programs and also by performing motion simulations, primarily reducing your design times, highlighting your creativity and helping you to create powerful designs.
With SimWise 4D, Rigid Body movements of your assembled products are simulated in a virtual environment, and your system is controlled by calculating the collision and collision response of the parts with each other during movement and the stresses that occur during movement.

Proven Simulation Tool
The roots of the software are based on the Working Model 3D, which was acquired by MSC in 1999 and developed with a great accumulation of knowledge, and the products later called Working Model 4D with the improved FEA capabilities. SimWise 4D product is currently preferred and used by thousands of engineers and educators.
Capabilities
SimWise 4D includes SimWise Motion, which provides kinematic and dynamic motion simulation capabilities, and SimWise FEA modules that provide linear static analysis, normal mode analysis, buckling analysis, and static thermal analysis capabilities. These modules can be used separately

SimWise 4D is a mechanical simulation product consisting of a combination of SimWise Motion and SimWise FEA. Thanks to this two-way interaction, the stresses created by the dynamic loads occurring during the movements of the mechanism are calculated and the resistance of the parts forming the mechanism against dynamic loads is determined.
Creating the Movement Model
SimWise Motion allows you to work with assemblies that you have designed in the CAD program or with assemblies that you have created with geometry tools. SimWise Motion calculates the physical properties of each part in the assembly and automatically recognizes the assembly properties (mate) you have created in the CAD program and translates these properties into its own assembly conditions.
Adding/Controlling Movement
In order for the simulation to be close to the real operating conditions and functionality, SimWise Motion adds various characteristics to the simulation that will provide these conditions. SimWise Motion supports motors, actuators, gravity, realistic contacts between parts, springs, friction, damping and loading types.
Calculating the Simulation
Once all the conditions are defined, it is simple to specify how long the simulation will take and view and report the results with a single command.

Matlab / Simulink Bağlantısı
It is possible to work with the Simulink module of the Matlab software, which is a product of Mathworks Inc. By adding a predefined block (sWplant) representing the mechanical system in SimWise to Simulink, a whole system is simulated by adding features such as hydraulic system and electronic system. Coupled simulations can be performed by connecting input and output variables with Simulink and SimWise.
